  1. Riley Greene. There was no reason to expect anything yet from a 19-yr-old kid, yet there he was going 5 for 12 with two HR’s and showing good plate discipline with 6 walks. Our most important offensive prospect gave reason for optimism.

  2. Two-way ties for first as to which players are impressing me the most in Spring Training: Travis Demeritte and Spencer Turnbull. Demeritte leads the Tigers in home runs (4) and RBIs (9)). If he can continue to hit with power, he will be a starting outfielder. Turnbull appears to have rebounded from the 3-17 season he had in 2019. He has had good shown good velocity and control in Spring Training.

  3. Ron Gardenhire for being able to maintain his sense of humor and positive leadership, knowing its going to be another long year!

    • “positive leadership”?? The most impressive thing so far ( I have only seen 2 games) is the consistency over the past 3 years. The lack of baseball IQ, the routine mental errors (not to mention the routine physical ones). etc. 😦

  4. Robert R. Right on. Checked out a game and saw this player I’d never seen before. Skinny guy. Couldn’t believe it was miggy. Good for him

  5. This early, best good news has to be Miggy. He does look good. Hopefully that will keep him healthy during the year. No, I don’t expect him to perform like he was in his twenties, but Miggy at 70 percent will make everyone in the lineup much better.
