  1. Not saying he will be a difference maker this season, but I offer up Gose. Like a couple of guys who were sent to AAA to re-think things only to come back a new man, maybe this will be Gose’s story this year.

  2. Sanchez. He is just a couple years away from his ERA crown. Might feel he has something to prove. I think it is crucial he is used the right way, which will require good management.

  3. Perhaps it will be either Omar Infante or Dixon Machado. If the Tigers trade Ian Kinsler to the Dodgers, someone will need to play 2B. I heard that Ian is the Dodgers Plan B if they don’t get Brian Dozier from the Twins.

  4. Hoping McCann can! Would love to see him boost that BA up to .275 and continue his fine catching skills in about 125 games starts. I’ll hold my nose the other 40 when AA fills in.

    • No argument with you there, Jerry. But if McCann can, we both know people will be screaming whenever AA plays! They will want JM playing every day! And when BA starts AA the day after JM has a real nice game…. Oh boy.

  5. I am rooting for McCann and Norris. I really liked the way they conducted themselves both on and off the field. Go Tigers!

  6. I’m hoping it’s JaCoby Jones in centerfield, assuming Leon Durham can help him cut down on strikeouts, and Dixon Machado at short. The latter should be retained and Iglesias shipped out – along with his $4 million contract – for a solid, young prospect. Machado has more pop in his bat than Jose and would represent only a slight regression in the field.

  7. JaCoby Jones is my pick, based on his tools, and the opening in cf. Could be a sparkplug if he’s developes quickly.

  8. I look for big things from Rondon. We have to have something sustained this year from “Mr. Blisters”, Shane Greene. If Sanchez has anything left in the tank, he needs to figure into a bullpen piece.

  9. No one mentioned Zimmerman . We saw in April what he could do . A bounce back year and we could have the best rotation in the division
